Google recently announced that you’re able to store any file. Previously, you were limited to file types that Google supported such as Documents, PDF’s, Spreadsheets and Presentations. Now, you can upload any file so you can access it from anywhere where you can get an Internet connection. Great news for those road warriors or people who work across different computers at different times.

Do you think they have a strategy for what to do with (index) all of this new data that will be uploaded? Anything sneaky in the ToR?
I’m not sure. Generally on the Google Apps side they’re pretty specific about letting you, as a business typically, maintaining rights over your data and information. It wouldn’t work any other way for a business. They’ll obviously do something to it so you can search for your information within your Google Apps workspace.
